Susan Gold, Certified Hypnotherapist, has had great success using hypnosis to help her clients make life-changing discoveries and transform their habits and self-concepts.
Training in Hypnotherapy
I am trained and certified through the National Guild of Hypnotists, the oldest and largest professional hypnosis organization in the world. I am constantly furthering my studies by participating in professional conferences, attending workshops and classes, and I am a voracious reader of books on hypnosis and subjects relevant to my practice. I have received special training in pain management, interactive guided imagery, and personal coaching.
Education and Professional History
I hold an M.A. degree in Creative Writing from San Diego State University and have taught writing, literature, and mythology classes at the college and high school levels. Much of the curriculum that I have developed fosters self-exploration and creative expression. I also received extensive training and supervision in counseling while working as a crisis intervention counselor at a local community agency.
My style of working with others is warm, nurturing, and nonjudgmental. I am an attentive listener and create a safe and encouraging environment for my clients to grow and reach their goals.
